Raw Stewing Beef |
These wonderful snacks can be made into a meal. You can also stick colorful toothpicks into each and serve as H'orderves with a dip.

Delicious, Oh so Yummy Applewood Bacon |
Ingredients:
- Bulk Pack Stewing Beef
- Applewood Smoked Bacon - double pack
- Jalapeños
- Toothpicks (Optional)
Use kitchen scissors to cut each strip of bacon into thirds or fourths depending on the size of the beef. The Jalapeños will need bigger strips to wind completely around from stem to tip.

Washing the Jalapenos |
|
Wrapping the Beef |
Wrap each piece of beef in a strip of bacon and place close together on a pan.
|
Ready for the Oven |
Be sure the pieces are snug so the bacon stays on as it cooks (you may also use toothpicks to secure each piece of bacon around the beef).
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 2 hours depending on how well done you like it. We like ours toasty. We had to drain each pan about half way through cooking (the beef had a lot of liquid).

Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos and Beef - All Done! |

Bacon Wrapped Beef |
The Bacon Tenderizes the Beef and the Applewood Smoked Bacon adds the most delicious flavor. We put ours in a large bowl for snacks during the week. If you are going to do this, leave the Beef Wraps a little underdone, so the beef will still be tender when reheated.
