We ate inside the Mt. Baldy Lodge after driving all the way to the top to the ski lift and then back down, so we were all a little car sick. We stopped at the lodge to get a drink and look around.
We saw that they had, as an appetizer, pieces of Charbroiled Beef with B.B.Q. sauce, so we ordered that and some french fries as well, to soothe our stomachs. The french fries were perfect; thin, salty and fried to perfection. The beef was unbelievably tender and may, I say again, cooked to perfection. One in our group ordered the Grilled Cheese which won rave reviews as well.

Don't forget to stop there Summer, Spring, Winter or Autumn for the ambiance and great food and drinks. The iced tea I had was refreshing and delicious. Our waitress who had green hair, yes, green hair was very nice. We told her we took a wrong turn on our way to the beach and ended up there, and that's why we had our bathing suits on, so she told us that since we were eating there, we could go take a dip in the pool and hang out as long as we wanted to. I am so glad we took her advice. I dipped my feet in the pool while everyone else played volleyball, basketball and ping-pong or just swung on the chair-swing and watched.
What a beautiful place! How many times had I driven past or just stopped to grab a bite and never ventured out the back door? Too many times to count. Boy, what I had been missing was unbelievable. It takes you into a whole new world walking through those glass doors out on to the patio area and beyond...
