Beef Stew and Mulled Cider

Ingredients for Beef Stew
 Ingredients for Beef Stew:
  • Beef cut in small pieces - Carne Picada +Walmart 
  • 1 Stick Butter
  • 1 Bag +Trader Joe's Potato Medley with Red, Gold and Purple Potatoes
  • 3 Small Onions
  • 3 Bulbs Garlic
  • 1 Celery Stalk
  • 1 Bag Carrots
 Brown the Carne Picada in Butter

Nicely Browned Beef
When the beef is browned add your chopped vegetables.  Put the veggies that have to be cooked longer on the bottom.

Chopped Potato Medley and Veggies
Layer the veggies with potatoes and carrots on the bottom and replace lid.
Let the stew simmer or stew for at least 20 minutes and then serve it with bread and butter or garlic bread.

The stew is done and the flavor is wonderful!


Ingredients for Mulled Cider

 Ingredients for Mulled Cider:
  • 4 Ripe Apples
  • 1 Tangerine
  • 3 pieces +Trader Joe's Fresh Ginger
  • 3 scoops +Trader Joe's  100% Organic Stevia Powder
  • 6 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 tsp. Ginger Powder
  • 1 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. +Mc Cormick Allspice
  • Mulling the Cider - Chop up the fruit, add spices and water and let simmer for at least an hour.  Be sure to leave the apple peel on.  Strain the spices and fruit and enjoy it while it is hot.
